 Georges' turtle morphologically are similar to the Elseya in the Manning River to the south, however, the southern sibling is the more attractive of the two.


 A male Elseya from the manning and Bellinger Rivers. The tail markings of the Manning species is distinctive.


 A large juvenile George Turtle, their eye colour would be Australia's most attractive.
